We are LUMULABS, razvoj novih tehnologij, d.o.o. with registered office at Grudnovo nabrežje 23, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia (“LUMULABS” or “us”), a company based in Slovenia, working on designing and manufacturing a digital incident color and light meters. 

At LUMULABS we take your privacy seriously. This privacy notice (“Notice”) applies to all personal data we process about you when you order, purchase or use our products and services, visit our websites, use our customer support or otherwise interact with LUMULABS. “Personal information” is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (you).

In this Notice, we explain which personal data we collect and how we use these data. Therefore, we encourage you to read this Notice carefully.

Activity Information

We use cookies, pixel tags, local storage objects, and other tracking technologies to automatically collect information about your activities, such as your searches, page views, date and time of your visit, and other information about your use of the LUMULABS website. We also collect and may store information that your computer or mobile device provides to us in connection with your use of the LUMULABS website such as your browser type, type of computer or mobile device, browser language, IP address, mobile carrier, unique device identifier, location, and requested and referring URLs. We also receive information when you view content on or otherwise interact with the LUMULABS website, even if you have not created an account.

App activity

We collect  information about features, settings, hardware, content and links you interact with when using our applications. Although this data is collected anonymously, with your consent, we may identify you with full name, email and approximate location data derived from the IP address of such device (“GeoIP Data”).

Device information

We collect  information about the device you are using to access our services, such as hardware models, operating systems and software versions, preferred languages, unique device identifiers, serial numbers, mobile network information, crash data. Whether we collect some or all of this information often depends on the type of device used and its settings.

To gather metrics to better understand how users access and use our applications; to evaluate and improve our applications, and to develop new products, features and services.

Most of the Personal information we process is provided to us knowingly from you, whether directly or through third parties. If you refuse to provide personal data that we require for the performance of the contract or compliance with a legal obligation, we may not be able to provide all or parts of the services you have requested from us.  

LUMULABS may also ask for “non-Personal information,” i.e., information that, alone, cannot be used to identify or contact you. Such non-Personal information may include, for example, gender, birth date, or zip code. You may be asked to submit non-Personal information with Personal information or separately. In case the non-Personal information is or can be connected to your Personal information it will represent Personal information and will be processed in accordance with this Notice. 

  1. Information sharing

Information about our customers is important to us and we are not in the business of selling this information to others. We share customer information only as set forth in this Notice and with subsidiaries that LUMULABS controls and that are either subject to this Notice or that follow practices that are at least as restrictive as those described in this Notice.

LUMULABS uses other third-party service providers that are indicated in point 2 above. These third parties are prohibited from using your personal information for promotional purposes.

  1. Security measures and data retention

LUMULABS takes appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data. LUMULABS restricts access to personal information to our employees, service providers and agents who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations. LUMULABS uses secure socket layer (“SSL”) technology to encrypt and protect the security of your personal information, including but not limited to your credit card number, when it is sent over the Internet. 

LUMULABS is committed to protecting the online privacy of children and making the internet safe. We do not provide products and services to children, or knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under 16 years of age. Any communication we get that is identified as being from a child under 16 will not be kept by LUMULABS. We encourage parents or guardians of children under 16 to regularly check and monitor their children’s use of email and other activities online.

LUMULABS stores your information for as long as needed to provide you with our services and as long as you or LUMULABS might have any claims deriving from these services or the products that you purchased. LUMULABS may store information longer, but only in a way that it cannot be tracked back to you. LUMULABS deletes the information as soon as they are not needed for providing our services.

Traffic information is erased or made anonymous when it is no longer needed for the purpose of the transmission or, in the case of payable services, up to the end of the period during which the bill may lawfully be challenged or payment pursued. Location information is stored to the extent and for the duration necessary for the provision of a value-added service. Cookies, direct marketing and provision of value-added services information (including traffic information used for these purposes) is stored as long as the same is necessary for the provision of these activities, or up to the time when a user revokes the consent to processing of personal data for this purpose. 

  1. International transfers of personal data

Given that we work with some global service providers, your personal data may be transferred to trusted third parties in countries outside the European Economic Area whose laws may not afford the same level of protection of your personal data. Where necessary, we will ensure that adequate safeguards are in place to comply with the requirements for the international transfer of personal data under applicable privacy laws. For transfers of personal data outside the European Economic Area, we will use Commission approved mechanisms, such as the Privacy Shield certification, Standard Contractual Clauses, certification or other mechanisms envisaged by the General Data Protection Regulation as safeguards.   1. What are your rights?

You have certain rights when it comes to processing of your personal data:

    1. You have the right to access your data that we collect from you by contacting us on any of the below listed contact details. We will provide you with the information on if and what personal information we collect about you as well as additional information, such as the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data concerned as well as any other information necessary for you to exercise the essence of this right. 
    2. If your name, e-mail or postal address, telephone number or other Personal information changes or is incorrect, you may update, correct or omit the relevant information by contacting LUMULABS customer service at support@lu.mu.
    3. If you decide at any time that you prefer not to receive newsletters or other marketing e-mails from LUMULABS anymore please let us know by clicking on the unsubscribe link within any newsletter or marketing e-mail you receive or contact us at support@lu.mu. Any consent you have given us to process your personal data can at any time be revoked. This does not influence the legality of our processing prior to the revocation.
    4. If you wish for your personal data to be completely removed from LUMULABS's systems, please send deletion request to the email address support@lu.mu. 
    5. You also have the right to data portability which means you can request us to provide you with your Personal information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller.
    6. You have the right to object to us processing your Personal information and request us to no longer process your Personal information in cases where we base the processing on legitimate interest.
    7. You have the right to obtain the restriction of the processing of your Personal information, which means that we suspend the processing of your data for a certain period of time, but that does not prevent us from continuing to store your Personal information.

[ If you are a California resident, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits you to request a notice regarding the disclosure of your personal information by LUMULABS to partners for the partners’ direct marketing purpose. If you are a California resident and would like a copy of this notice, please contact us at support@lu.mu.  We do not track our users and visitors over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising. Consequently, we do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. Other third party websites may keep track of your browsing activities when they provide you with content, which enables them to customize what they present to you on their websites. ] 

You can enforce the above-mentioned rights by procedures and methods prescribed in the General Data Protection Regulation.

We have most recently updated this notice on  and it replaces all earlier versions. LUMULABS reserves the right to modify this Notice at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. We will inform you by email or via our apps, prior to these changes taking effect.
