ILLUMINANCE

Aiming to provide the needs of photographers, cinematographers, set and light designers alike, Lumu Illuminance measures the density of light at any given point on surface. It is defined by incident light, which isn’t reflected but absorbed by the surface.

COLOR TEMPERATURE

When measuring White Balance, Lumu Color Temperature offers a precise measurement of virtuallly any light source whether they're LED, flash, incandescent, HMI, fluorescent, or in the natural light spectrum. It can also balance multiple lights and apply correct color filters so that you achieve perfect colors.

PHOTO AMBIENT

Lumu uses the dome side as an incident light meter. It can measure Ambient or Flash Exposure of light on your subject. Use a single reading, or increase its accuracy by using Multi mode and let Lumu calculate the average of multiple readings. Pinhole mode is a great partner in crime for users who use analog cameras.

PHOTO FLASH

Lumu Photo Flash helps you increase the quality, not the quantity of light. Measure with it to get perfect exposure when using strobes or HSS flashes. Additionally, you can control how much Ambient vs. Flash light falls to your subject, measured in percentage. Precise calculation of Flash duration will also help you in freezing fast motion.

CHROMATICITY

When measuring ambiental light in an architectural space, designing lighting fixtures, setting a scene, supervising stage lighting - a chromaticity meter just might be your best friend. A best friend you can fit in your pocket. Lumu Chromaticity allows you to see light in CIE 1931 color space. It calculates the Duv, CCT and Illuminance value in Lux or Foot-candles.

FLASH COLOR

Lumu Flash Color simplifies the photographers workflow. Easily measure your flash white balance. Simultaneously measure color temperatures of both your flash and ambient light. If additional color filters are needed to achieve even results, Lumu lets you know which one (or two) to apply. All with a tap of a button.

CINE/VIDEO

When working on motion pictures, Lumu allows you to dedicate the most  time to your story subject. Using Cine/Video you can match your artistic vision with the footage you produce. Simply input your parameters and let Lumu measure the correct aperture of your picture.
